excuse me for being ignorant, but I&#039;ve been a programmer for more than 8 years now and I&#039;ve never heard of hammer throwing before :)

Honestly. I assume it has some symbolism related to Thor so probably it is specific to the Nordic countries? In Montenegro, there is somewhat similar discipline, &quot;Bacanje kamena s&#039; ramena&quot;, which means throwing stones from the shoulder. It probably has its roots in practicing for battles against Turks in medieval ages, but since they are very traditional, this sport is pretty much alive and popular.

I do find your posts about spl and design patterns very clear and concise, so I hope you won&#039;t get sore with knowledge sharing.</description>
